The four-fight main card for September’s UFC Fight Night 25 “Battle on the Bayou” is now set. UFC officials recently announced that in addition to the headlining bout featuring Jake Shields and Jake Ellenberger, the card will also feature Court McGee vs. Dongi Yang, Jonathan Brookins vs. Erik Koch, and Alan Belcher vs. Jason MacDonald.

Following a hard-fought split-decision loss to Carlos Condit in September 2009, Ellenberger has recorded four-straight wins, his most recent victory being a first-round knockout of Sean Pierson at April’s record-breaking UFC 129 event. Ellenberger also holds victories over Carlos Eduardo Rocha, John Howard and Mike Pyle. Meanwhile, Shields will be looking for a good performance following his unanimous-decision loss to Georges St-Pierre, also at April’s UFC 129 event. The loss broke a 15-fight win streak that dated back to November 2005.

UFC Fight Night 25 takes place Sept. 17 at New Orleans’ Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The main card will air on Spike, while officials have yet to announce broadcast plans for the evening’s preliminary card.

The UFC Fight Night 25 lineup is as follows:

bj sulhod fight every one on the list just because. a jake shields, josh koscheck, carlos condit, or jake ellenberger fight would b nice to watch. some events are lackluster because of style matchups . i think if penn fought any of these dudes, especially koscheck alot of people would pay to watch. cant wait to see diaz and penn knuck in their next fight. even tho theyre boys and theres not much motivation aside from a potential title shot, building more of a fan base, and money, style wise u kno its gonna b fun to watch.
