Lance Benoist to Make UFC Debut Against Matt Riddle

Undefeated UFC newcomer Lance Benoist will make is Octagon debute against former “The Ultimate Fighter” cast member Matt Riddle at UFC Fight Night 25. UFC officials announced Monday that Riddle and Benoist have verbally agreed to meet at the event, which takes place Sept. 17 in New Orleans.

The show event will appear on Spike TV and features a  headlining bout between welterweight contenders Jake Shields and Jake Ellenberger.

An accomplished high school wrestler, Riddle  rattled off three consecutive decision victories following his “TUF 7” stint, before suffering his first loss to Nick Osipczak in November 2009. Riddle rebounded with back-to-back wins, but was dealt anotherdecision defeat by Canadian veteran Sean Pierson in his last outing.

Benoist, 22, singed a four-fight deal with the UFC in June. He is unbeaten in his professional career with four submissions and one knockout win, none of which have left the first round.

    i dont think so ..jones has a lot of skill fast,good wrestler and etc .unlike silva he just a ensotcrutrike i dont like to compare them dude better watch them who will win .4me and my observation..jones bone will win peace bro!!!
